Project: Zer0

About the Author:

Hi! I'm Daryl, the creator and the main author of this Blog. I'm a 24 year old University Student living in Singapore, and I am in the midst of completing a Degree in Chemical Engineering.

I started played MTG in my senior year of my Polytechnic education days (around Shards of Alara Block) and I have been active since. I play mainly in Modern and EDH Formats and I started the Project: Zer0 in the late 2013 to minimize my expenditure in MTG and learn the craft of trading using bulk rares for value.

In March 2014, I started the blog with the intention to keep track of my savings and accomplishments. Eventually, I started to branch more into the Finance aspect of MTG and my articles grew from just keeping track of my trades, to discussing about the value of cards and expansions. Eventually, I made another shift to touch more about the aspects of the game in general, but give a unique twist to it.

Some of the notable series of articles I write covers my own game coverage of my own home-brewed decks, [First Look!] article, which features my top 10 card picks of new expansions sets based on first impressions and the financial/speculation articles which covers what I bought and what specs I'm hitting on at the moment.

I focus most of my articles for the Modern Format as that is what I am most familiar with, but I am intending to expand into discussing EDH formats if I can spare more time. I aim to keep my discussions unique from the point that while do cover most of my content similar to other major articles sites, I still wish to retain my style of writing and arguments and deliver them through my own points of views.

Currently I am not sponsored by any LGS or community so this is done at my own time and expenses.
